Been there several times for lunch which is really good. My wife and I went tonight for dinner for the first time which was even better. Service is awesome and the ownership is extremely personable and friendly. Not to mention the food is excellent. If your in Dade City, it is a must.

This was the best food I've had all weekend. Delicious and fresh. They even had a good local IPA. It was reasonably priced and the service was great!

Finally, a great place to go in Dade City! They have a warm ambiance (including al fresco), reasonable pricing, interesting menu, and most importantly, the food is fresh and high quality. Actually, the most important thing is probably the attitude of the staff. Unlike the other nicer places in Dade City, these people actually make you feel like you are important to them. They "get it".

Fabulous! Delicious for lunch or dinner. From the antipasto salad, white pizza, angel hair pasta and meatballs and marinated flank steak ... Everything I have eaten at Bistro has been delicious and fresh. Interesting wine list and great ambiance. Owners and staff are willing to do whatever necessary to make the dining experience exceptional. Extremely reasonable prices. Total gem!

Service and food were excellent. Smoked meats on the sandwich were awesome and the hearty chicken and dumpling soup was amazing. Well worth leaving 75 to find this place. Owner even gave me soup to take with me.

We had a group of seven and made reservations. The service was good and the food was very tasty; however, the restaurant was a little too noisy to have a comfortable conversation. Would definitely go again.

So my husband and I do a survey trip on a couple jobs in Sarasota and we're driving back to our home in Dade city. On the way home because we are hungry my husband takes the road Bruce B Downs -we are looking for a restaurant which we both can enjoy. All the way down Bruce B Downs we say no no no-and there's nothing - to make a long story short we drove back to Dade city and decided to go to city Market Bistro restaurant- healthy food -fresh -there's nothing like it . The veggie burger is to die for! Don't order it thinking it's going to taste like beef ! Order it because you love a vegetarian option. Kudos to the chef and the owners for a having a fabulous option for healthy food!

Both my wife and I had the fish and chips. Very yummy. The only complaint I had was the noise level was loud but that was to be expected on a Friday evening. Service was excellent.

The service was exceptional and the fold was phenomenal! One of our new favorite brunch spots and worth the drive to dade city. I had the stuffed French toast and a side of bacon. The bacon was the best I've ever had!

Excellent restaurant. I went with a friend and we both had the meatloaf, which was superb and reasonably priced for what you get. Very nice inside, and friendly staff. Our waitress was new and did a great job. It's 1000x better than that Kokopelli place, and one of the few really nice restaurants in Dade City. Highly, highly recommended.

Awhile back ago on a Sunday, We ordered a few things for carry-out since nothing else was open and this seemed to have good yelp reviews. We gave it a try, but meh, nothing special. Not that great actually. I ordered the Shrimp'n Grits, bf ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Cuban. We both agreed that everything lacked flavor. I actually thought my shrimps were over-charred and just added a burnt flavor..yum? I thought it was awful and just ate the grits plain. Maybe it's just the brunch menu that's unappetizing? I'd be willing to give them another chance off of the normal menu, but the brunch menu was all that was offered on Sundays. I'm a wuss when it comes to sending food back so I just kept my order, but my bf was very disappointed about the food and was adamant about talking to the manager about the shortcomings. After talking to the manager, he offered to redo everything but bf decided to just give them 2nd chance on the Cuban. The redone sandwich was customized to how the manager would have personally liked to have it done, and bf said it was definitely much better. Also, I didn't like the attitude of the woman that rang me up. She definitely stood out from everyone else and was not friendly. Everyone has bad days, but I don't appreciate it being taken out on me. I had asked for some plasticware and she just huffed and went under the counter and brought back either a bag or box I suppose should have had the utensils and slammed it onto the counter. Boy, she must be fun to work with, I feel for the staff there. I would have given 1-star, but since the manager was friendly, took constructive criticism with grace, and genuinely wanted to please customers, I bumped it up a star.

Absolutely love this place! The charm of the decor combined with the amazing meal couldn't have been better. We stopped in Labor Day weekend for brunch and I'm so glad we did! Staff was great, service was prompt and the food was awesome. Everyone at our table loved what they ordered! I had the BLTCE while friends had the eggs Benedict, stuffed French toast and chicken sandwich. A newfound favorite and I will definitely be making the trip to Dade City again just for the City Market Bistro!

I came to City Market Bistro for the first time the other night and ordered the "Stuffed Chicken." It was good but it definitely wasn't a stuffed chicken. My complaint would be how salty the sauce was. But otherwise, the food and ambiance was nice.

This was a nice surprise. Awesome food, great service and nice ambiance. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food served. We were a group of 9 and our server { can't recall her name} did a great job. I called earlier to reserve and all was ready by the time we arrived. Everybody in the group was happy about their food. Certainly will be back !
Stopped in when I was working in town. Very cute place great atmosphere. I had a half of Cuban a Caesar salad. My bill was just under $7 very reasonable and filling. Would highly recommend.

Best place to eat in Dade city! Literally have to come here every week to get my fix. I always order the sweet spinach salad. They usually have freshly baked cakes which is always a treat. The ambience is casual but nice. During dinner am always greeted and feel welcomed. Sunday's they always have a Delish brunch!

Awesome Meatloaf to die for / mushroom sauce! Worth coming for! It's highly recommended. Atmosphere is great also, along / the servers. You'll enjoy. I come here a few times a year while in Florida.
Overall breakfast experience was positive: tasty food; clean, new looking interior with vintage country theme a la the new First Watch makeover; fast and friendly service. I ordered the real deal hash, which is not out of a can by the way, but hand prepared and delicious. Also, the "thick cut" bacon is anything but, it's just regular sized 'ole bacon. Bottom line, though, good food, good service.

Great food, Great service, Great Decor The food was fresh and made from scratch. They even make their own sauce which is applausable given the nature of the restaurant business nowadays. Overall the food was good tasting and reasonably priced considering the quality. They have multiple options on their menu. It is centered upon flat breads, grilled items, sandwiches and Italian food. They have a wood oven and grill which is nice. The food doesn't have that gas taste you sometimes get with gas ovens. The service was very attentive and generous. The two owners work in the restaurant. They make sure everyone is being taken care of. The decor was quite interesting. It has a very rustic look yet it is definitively modern in how they did the rustic look. It was very comfortable and clean. Worth a try. Especially for Dade City. I would say its one of the top restaurants that opened up in the county.

As always...wonderfully eclectic atmosphere...totally friendly solicitous staff...and deliciously diverse menu. Planning to eat our way through the menu...for as long as they'll have us! We Found it! The best food in The Dade City area! The entire staff is wonderful, from the owners who meet and greet you at the door and stop by your table to check on you to the wait staff, chef and the Handsome Young Busboy( Parker?)! Great drinks, perfect appetizers, tasty soups and salads, delicious flatbreads and Pizza to top of the line entrees. The Meatloaf is my favorite, but I will try everything on the menu in the future. If you are in the area stop in and give them a try, you will love it! Oh yeah! The desserts are heavenly! Great Job! Please open a location in Westchase!

The Silken Windhound National Specialty dog show was held in Dade City in March 2015, and I needed to find a deli that would prepare & deliver lunch boxes for 3 days of the show. I found City Market Bistro on the internet, looked at the menu, and spoke with the owner on the phone about our request. From that first conversation with Julie, I knew I made the right decision to have them prepare our lunches. The sandwiches & salads we chose to offer were more than ample in size, made with fresh & high-quality ingredients and were delicious. Received rave reviews from our attendees - they couldn't wait until they got their lunch the next day! Julie and her team graciously honored special requests and last-minute orders. Each day we received exactly what we ordered...no mistakes. High praises go to Julie, her Chef & 'Mr. Julie' for taking such good care of us.

5 stars across the board in food, ambiance, service, & bonus points for a cute little outside dog friendly patio. The setup is quite eclectic and different, & matches the area of Dade City. It has an antique, but clean feel to it with a modern bistro touch. You order your food at the checkout like a Panera, & they bring it to you. I must say my burger was the best burger in the area. Super big and juicy, no need to add mayo, mustard, & ketchup. It was chuck and brisket, topped with sautéed mushrooms, fresh spinach, goat cheese, bacon, avocado, and grilled onions. Best ever ever ever. I have never ever had sweet potato fries as good as City Market Bistro's. These had that perfect outside crunch. The skin of the sweet potatoes were even better crunchy, and the inside was soft, and so tasty. Brown sugar was sprinkled on top. Best Best Best. Their flatbread is something I shared. It's good for two as a side. Good enough for one person if you don't get anything else. You pick your toppings. As the base it comes with mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce. We added goat cheese, grilled pineapple, tomatoes, and prosciutto. In the future, I would want my pineapple not be diced, and to be chunks. Every other topping was a good size. I would also like more sauce on the side. I love sauce. City Market Bistro has the whole package. They have a great variety of special salads with their own home made dressings. They have a variety of sandwiches and burgers at lunch time. They also have great dinner & brunch options. I can't wait to try them. They have out of this world home made coconut ice cream, desserts such as cheesecake, and huge homemade cookies. Yes, you can find Heaven on Earth in Dade City in the midst of antiquing, taking in Kumquat Festival, or visiting their various animal sanctuaries. Just stop here.

Dade City has a weak food scene. Lots of chain restaurants. Luckily, I found City Market Bistro on Yelp when my fiancée and I needed a quick (but satisfying) lunch near our hotel. The inside is rustic meets quaint café. Very cozy. We were seated within minutes. I ordered the BLTC&E (BLT plus cheese and a fried egg on sourdough bread). Got it with fries of course. It was really good. Light but still filling. My fiancée had the fried chicken sandwich which was HUGE and equally as delicious. The owner (I'm guessing) came over to check if everything was good, which is always welcome. Our favorite spot from the trip!

My boyfriend and I have been here at least 10 times since they have opened and each time is nothing short of amazing! Like many of the places downtown, the building has a red brick exterior complete with black awning and (dog friendly) outside patio seating area leading you into the inside dinning. The inside décor is a perfect blend of country & rustic. I love that the booth seating against the wall is framed with old eccentric headboards and the ceiling is lined with chandeliers! No matter if you're there for Sunday Brunch, Lunch, or Dinner I guarantee it will be divine. I'm going to list some of my favs and try not to drool all over my keyboard... If you are there for Sunday Brunch (10am-2pm) I highly recommend the Chicken & Waffles or the Homemade Stuffed French Toast, holy mouthwatering, along with a mimosa of course ;) For lunch they have an eclectic selection ranging anywhere in between Panini's, burgers & pizza. The Quattro Formaggi,(white pizza) is so good I think I could eat a whole pizza myself! But if you're looking for something a little lighter their Sweet Spinach Salad is excellent and the portion is definitely filling! Dinner, where should I even start? My absolute favorite is the Outrageous Angus Beef Meatloaf served with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus, just thinking about it makes me hungry! I'm also a huge fan of the City Market Chicken Pot Pie. In addition, they offer daily dinner specials including seafood options. And let's not forget about their giant glasses of red and white sangria, and I seriously mean GIANT for only... wait for it... $5!! I guarantee that whatever you choose, no matter what time of day, you will be back for more!!

(5)Karl L.
Wow, a surprise in the middle of nowhere! Loved the variety and quality of the food. Everything was fresh and homemade, from the sangria to pre-dinner bread to the meatloaf my wife had as an entree. Chicken pot pie was delicious and in a different shape than usual, being the innards were in a bowl and it was topped with a puff of pastry. Meatloaf was kickin'. Flavorful and with a wonderful moist inner texture with a slightly crunchier outside. I had the chicken with boursin cheese which may actually convince me to eat more chicken. My only gripe is that the garlic mash needs more garlic and the sautéed spinach more salt. We can't wait to go again!
